Los síntomas de la hepatitis abarcan:

Muchas personas con hepatitis B o C no tienen síntomas cuando resultan infectadas por primera vez, pero igual pueden presentar insuficiencia hepática posteriormente. Si la persona tiene cualquier factor de riesgo para cualquier tipo de hepatitis, debe hacerse exámenes periódicamente.

Signos y exámenes:

Un examen físico puede mostrar una coloración amarillenta de la piel, agrandamiento y sensibilidad del hígado o líquido en el abdomen (ascitis) que puede resultar infectado.
