Causas, incidencia y factores de riesgo:

La hipofunción ovárica puede ser causada por factores genéticos, como anomalías cromosómicas o puede ocurrir con ciertos trastornos autoinmunitarios que alteran la función ovárica normal.

La quimioterapia y la radioterapia también pueden causar hipofunción ovárica.
