Insuficiencia ovárica prematura
Es la reducción de la función de los ovarios (incluyendo la disminución de la producción de hormonas).
La hipofunción ovárica puede ser causada por factores genéticos, como anomalías cromosómicas o puede ocurrir con ciertos trastornos autoinmunitarios que alteran la función ovárica normal.
