Adenoma paratiroideo - Treatment

Tratamiento:

La cirugía es el tratamiento más común. Sin embargo, si usted tiene hiperparatiroidismo leve, puede sólo necesitar chequeos regulares con el médico.

La terapia con reemplazo de estrógenos puede ayudar a aliviar los síntomas y prevenir la pérdida ósea en mujeres posmenopáusicas.

Expectativas (pronóstico):

El pronóstico generalmente es bueno.

Complicaciones:

La preocupación más común es la osteoporosis y el incremento del riesgo de fracturas óseas.
