Disfunción hipotalámica - Symptom

Síntomas:

Los síntomas por lo general se deben a las hormonas faltantes. En los niños, puede haber problemas de crecimiento, ya sea demasiado o muy poco, o la pubertad que ocurre demasiado temprano o demasiado tarde.

Síntomas del tumor:

  • Dolores de cabeza
  • Pérdida de la visión

Síntomas del hipotiroidismo:

  • Intolerancia al frío
  • Estreñimiento
  • Estado de ánimo deprimido
  • Fatiga
  • Cambios en el cabello o la piel
  • Ronquera
  • Impotencia
  • Pérdida muscular y del vello corporal (en los hombres)
  • Lentitud mental
  • Cambios en el ciclo menstrual
  • Aumento de peso

Síntomas de la función suprarrenal baja:

  • Mareo
  • Debilidad

Otros síntomas menos comunes pueden abarcar:

  • Problemas de temperatura corporal
  • Problemas emocionales
  • Sed excesiva
  • Obesidad
  • Micción incontrolable

Síntomas del síndrome de Kallmann (un tipo de disfunción hipotalámica que se presenta en los hombres):

  • Disminución de la función de las hormonas sexuales (hipogonadismo)
