Prevención:

Se recomienda la asesoría genética para los futuros padres con antecedentes familiares de síndrome de Morquio. La asesoría también se recomienda para familias que tengan un niño con este síndrome con el fin de ayudarlos a entender la enfermedad y posibles tratamientos.
