Papiloma intraductal
SÃntomas:
- Dolor de mama
- Secreción del pezón , a veces con sangre, sólo en una mama
- Pueden observarse manchas dentro del sostén y/o la ropa
- Protuberancias en las mamas
- Agrandamiento de las mamas
Signos y exámenes:
- El papiloma intraductal es la causa más común de secreción espontánea del pezón de un solo conducto.
- El examinador puede sentir una pequeña protuberancia por debajo del pezón, pero no siempre se puede palpar.
- Una mamografÃa a menudo no muestra los papilomas, pero el ultrasonido puede ayudar.
- Se puede tomar una radiografÃa con medio de contraste inyectado en el conducto afectado (ductograma).
- Se puede realizar un examen de las células (citológico) de la secreción para identificar células potencialmente malignas (cancerosas).
- Es necesario efectuar una biopsia de mama para hacer un diagnóstico definitivo y descartar un cáncer .
