Prevención:

El tratamiento y prevención de la osteoporosis puede prevenir muchos casos de cifosis en las personas de edad avanzada. El diagnóstico temprano y el uso de un corsé en la enfermedad de Scheuermann pueden reducir la necesidad de la cirugía, pero no hay una forma de prevenir esta enfermedad.
