Tratamiento:

El tratamiento depende de los problemas físicos y cognitivos presentes. Se recomiendan los cuidados ortopédicos al igual que la intervención temprana y la educación especial.

Expectativas (pronóstico):

Los problemas dependen del grado de compromiso del esqueleto y del retardo mental . En general, los pacientes se recuperan relativamente bien.

Se debe buscar asistencia médica si un niño parece estar creciendo o desarrollándose de una forma lenta y anormal o si se notan anomalías físicas en un bebé.
