Prevención:

Si una persona tiene cálculos renales, debe consultar con el médico sobre el mejor tratamiento para erradicarlos y de esta manera evitar el desarrollo de un absceso perirrenal. Si una persona se ha sometido a una cirugía urológica debe mantener el área afectada tan limpia como sea posible.
