Cálculos en la vejiga - Symptom

Síntomas:

Los síntomas ocurren cuando el cálculo irrita el revestimiento de la vejiga u obstruye el flujo de orina proveniente de ésta. Los síntomas pueden abarcar:

La incontinencia también puede estar asociada con cálculos en la vejiga.

Signos y exámenes:

El médico llevará a cabo un examen físico, incluyendo una exploración del recto. El examen puede revelar un aumento de tamaño de la próstata u otros problemas.

Los exámenes pueden revelar lo siguiente:

  • La radiografía de la vejiga o de la pelvis puede mostrar la presencia de cálculos.
  • Una cistoscopia puede revelar un cálculo en la vejiga.
  • El análisis de orina puede mostrar la presencia de sangre en la orina, cristales o una infección.
  • Un urocultivo (muestra limpia) puede revelar infección.
