Prevención:

A las mujeres que tienen síntomas que ocurren con la actividad sexual les puede ayudar el hecho de tomar una pequeña dosis de antibióticos después de la relación sexual para prevenir la uretritis y la cistitis.

Es importante que usted y sus parejas sexuales tengan una buena higiene. Los comportamientos sexuales con precaución pueden disminuir el riesgo de desarrollar enfermedades de transmisión sexual, las cuales pueden causar uretritis.

El hecho de recibir tratamiento tan pronto como aparezcan los síntomas puede ayudar a prevenir daño a la uretra.
