Epididimitis - Prevention

Prevención:

Las complicaciones de la epididimitis pueden prevenirse mediante el diagnóstico oportuno y el tratamiento de cualquier infección.

El médico puede prescribir antibióticos antes de una cirugía que incremente el riesgo de sufrir epididimitis. El hecho de tener relaciones sexuales con precaución (relaciones sexuales con una sola pareja, usar condones) puede ayudar a prevenir la epididimitis causada por enfermedades de transmisión sexual.
