Síntomas:

Venas agrandadas y retorcidas en el escroto
Infertilidad
Tumor testicular indoloro, inflamación del escroto o protuberancia dentro del escroto

Puede no haber síntomas.

Pruebas y exámenes:

El médico examina el área inguinal, incluyendo el escroto y los testículos, y puede sentir una masa retorcida e insensible a lo largo del cordón espermático (se siente como una bolsa con gusanos).

Sin embargo, es posible que la masa no se pueda sentir u observar, especialmente si el paciente está acostado.

El testículo del lado del varicocele puede estar más pequeño que el del otro lado.
