Hipospadias - Symptom

Síntomas:

La afección varía en gravedad. En la mayoría de los casos, la abertura de la uretra está localizada cerca de la punta del pene en la cara inferior. Las formas más serias de hipospadias se presentan cuando la abertura se encuentra en la mitad del tallo del pene o en su base. Ocasionalmente, la abertura se localiza en o por detrás del escroto.

Los hombres que padecen esta afección a menudo presentan una curvatura hacia abajo (encordamiento o curvatura ventral) del pene durante una erección. (Las erecciones son comunes en los bebés varones.)

Otros síntomas abarcan:

  • Rociado anormal de la orina
  • Tener que sentarse para orinar
  • Malformación del prepucio que hace que el pene luzca "encapuchado"

Signos y exámenes:

Esta afección se puede diagnosticar con un examen físico. Se pueden necesitar exámenes imagenológicos para buscar otras anomalías congénitas.
