Expectativas (pronóstico):

El pronóstico depende de la ubicación del tumor y si el cáncer se ha diseminado o no. La mejor posibilidad de curación es una combinación de tratamientos que abarcan quimioterapia más radioterapia o cirugía, brindadas en una institución en donde traten frecuentemente este tipo de cáncer.

Complicaciones:

Los tratamientos necesarios para combatir esta enfermedad presentan muchas complicaciones que deben ser evaluadas de manera individual.

Situaciones que requieren asistencia médica:

Consulte con el médico si su hijo tiene cualquiera de los síntomas de un sarcoma de Ewing. Un diagnóstico oportuno puede aumentar la posibilidad de un desenlace clínico favorable.
