Es un raro trastorno de las plaquetas de la sangre que ocasiona hemorragias nasales y formación de hematomas con facilidad.
La enfermedad de Glanzmann es causada por la falta de una proteína que normalmente está en la superficie de las plaquetas, la cual es necesaria para que ellas se aglutinen o agrupen normalmente.
