Incompatibilidad ABO

Tratamiento:

El tratamiento puede comprender la administración de líquidos a través de una vena (intravenoso), medicamentos para tratar reacciones alérgicas (antihistamínicos), medicamentos utilizados para tratar hinchazón y alergias (esteroides) y medicamentos para la presión arterial.

Expectativas (pronóstico):

Esto puede ser un problema muy serio que incluso puede ocasionar la muerte, pero es probable la recuperación completa si se realiza el tratamiento correcto.

Situaciones que requieren asistencia médica:

Se debe buscar asistencia médica si el paciente ha estado sometido a un trasplante o a una transfusión de sangre recientemente y tiene los síntomas que se mencionaron anteriormente.
