Incompatibilidad ABO - Treatment

Tratamiento:

El tratamiento puede abarcar:

Medicamentos utilizados para tratar reacciones alérgicas (antihistamínicos)
Medicamentos utilizados para tratar hinchazón y alergias (esteroides)
Líquidos administrados a través de una vena (intravenosos)
Medicamentos para subir la presión arterial si ésta baja demasiado

Expectativas (pronóstico):

Esto puede ser un problema muy serio que incluso puede ocasionar la muerte, pero es probable la recuperación completa si se realiza el tratamiento correcto.

Complicaciones:

Insuficiencia renal
Presión arterial baja que necesita cuidados intensivos
Muerte

Situaciones que requieren asistencia médica:

La persona debe consultar con el médico si ha tenido un trasplante o una transfusión de sangre recientemente y tiene los síntomas que se mencionaron arriba.
