Tratamiento:

No hay cura conocida para esta enfermedad y el objetivo del tratamiento es el control de las infecciones. Los medicamentos abarcan:

  • Antibióticos
  • Antimicóticos y antivirales (cuando se considera apropiado)

Algunas veces, se requiere cirugía para drenar los abscesos.

La gammaglobulina administrada a través de una vena (intravenosa, IV) puede ayudar a fortalecer el sistema inmunitario si usted tiene infecciones serias.

Pronóstico:

El síndrome de Job es una afección crónica que dura toda la vida y cada nueva infección requiere tratamiento.
