Hipertermia maligna - Symptom

Síntomas:

Los síntomas abarcan:

Sangrado.
Orina de color pardo oscuro.
Dolor muscular sin una causa obvia, como ejercicio o lesión.
Tensión y rigidez muscular.
Aumento rápido de la temperatura a 105 grados F (40.5 º C) o mayor.

Pruebas y exámenes:

La hipertermia maligna a menudo se descubre después de que a un paciente se le administra anestesia durante una cirugía.

Puede haber antecedentes familiares de hipertermia maligna o muerte inexplicable durante la anestesia.

La persona puede tener una frecuencia cardíaca rápida y a menudo una frecuencia cardíaca irregular.

Chem-20.
Pruebas genéticas para buscar anomalías en el gen RYR1.
Biopsia del músculo.
Determinación de la mioglobina en la orina (proteína muscular).
