Pulgas de perro; Sifonápteros
Síntomas:
- Ronchas
- Picazón (puede ser intensa y generalizada o sólo donde se localiza la erupción cutánea)
- Erupción con pequeñas protuberancias que pican y pueden sangrar
- localizadas en la axila o pliegue de una articulación (en el codo, rodilla o tobillos)
- la cantidad de piel afectada aumenta con el tiempo (agrandando la erupción cutánea o lesión) o la erupción se extiende a otras áreas
- cuando se presiona el área, ésta se vuelve blanca (blanquea al tacto)
- Pueden afectarse los pliegues de la piel por debajo de las mamas o en la ingle (intertrigo)
- Inflamación sólo alrededor de una úlcera o lesión
Nota: con frecuencia los síntomas comienzan en forma súbita (en cuestión de horas).
