Rickettsiosis exantemática - Treatment

Tratamiento:

El objetivo del tratamiento es curar la infección. El tratamiento básico es con el antibiótico doxiciclina. Otros antibióticos abarcan cloramfenicol y tetraciclina.

Expectativas (pronóstico):

Se espera una recuperación completa.

Complicaciones:

Si la enfermedad se trata, generalmente no se presentan complicaciones.

Situaciones que requieren asistencia médica:

Consulte con el médico si su hijo tiene síntomas indicadores de rickettsiosis exantemática.
