Kuru - Treatment

Tratamiento:

No existe un tratamiento conocido para el kuru.

Expectativas (pronóstico):

La muerte generalmente ocurre dentro del primer año después del primer signo de síntomas.

Situaciones que requieren asistencia médica:

Consulte con el médico si tiene problemas para caminar, deglutir o en la coordinación. El kuru es extremadamente raro y el médico descartará otras enfermedades neurológicas.
