Laringitis

Síntomas:

Infección reciente o actual de las vías respiratorias superiores
Ronquera
Fiebre
Ganglios linfáticos o glándulas inflamadas en el cuello

Signos y exámenes:

Regularmente, todo lo que se necesita es un examen físico para averiguar si la ronquera es causada por una infección del tracto respiratorio.

Los pacientes, en particular los fumadores, quienes presentan ronquera persistente necesitan consultar a un otorrinolaringólogo (médico especializado en oídos, nariz y garganta) para realizar exámenes de garganta y vías respiratorias superiores.
