Prevención:

La hemorragia epidural no se puede prevenir una vez que se ha presentado la lesión en la cabeza.

Para minimizar el riesgo de lesión en la cabeza se recomienda utilizar equipo de seguridad apropiado (como cascos de seguridad, cascos de bicicleta o motocicleta y cinturones de seguridad) cuando se participe en actividades que vienen al caso.
