Hernia cerebral

SÃntomas:
- Coma
- Pérdida progresiva de la conciencia
- Respiración irregular
- Paro respiratorio (ausencia de respiración)
- Pulso irregular
- Paro cardÃaco (ausencia de pulso)
- Pérdida de todos los reflejos en el tallo cerebral (parpadeo, náuseas, reacción pupilar a la luz)
Signos y exámenes:
Un examen neurológico muestra un deterioro en el nivel de conciencia y, dependiendo de la gravedad de la hernia, se puede presentar deterioro en uno o varios reflejos del tallo cerebral y en las funciones nerviosas craneales. El paciente presentará incapacidad para respirar de manera consistente y el ritmo cardÃaco es irregular.
