Tiña - Symptom

Dermatofítide; Dermatofitosis

Síntomas:

Los síntomas de la tiña abarcan:

  • Parches rojos, levantados, pruriginosos y descamativos que se pueden ampollar y supurar.
  • Los parches tienden a tener bordes muy definidos.
  • Los parches rojos con frecuencia son más rojos alrededor de la parte exterior con un tono normal de piel en el centro, lo cual puede crear una apariencia de anillo.

Si la tiña afecta el cabello, usted tendrá parches de calvicie.

Si la tiña afecta las uñas, éstas cambiarán de color, se volverán gruesas e incluso se partirán.

Pruebas y exámenes:

La mayoría de las veces, el médico puede diagnosticar la tiña al examinar la piel. El hongo puede brillar cuando se examina la piel con una luz azul (llamada lámpara de Wood) en un cuarto oscuro.
