Definición:

Es una masa cutánea benigna que aparece como una protuberancia pequeña, lisa y de color rojo cereza.

Causas, incidencia y factores de riesgo:

Los angiomas en cereza son masas cutáneas benignas, bastante comunes que varían en tamaño y cuya causa se desconoce. Estas masas se pueden presentar casi en cualquier parte del cuerpo, pero generalmente se desarrollan en el tronco.

Estos angiomas son más comunes después de los 40 años y aunque son indoloros e inofensivos, pueden sangrar profusamente en caso de lesión.
