Tratamiento:

Por lo general, los angiomas en cereza no necesitan tratamiento. Cuando son antiestéticos o propensos a sangrar, los angiomas se pueden extirpar con cirugía, congelamiento (crioterapia), cauterización (electrocirugía) o con el uso de láser.

Expectativas (pronóstico):

Los angiomas cereza suelen ser benignos e inofensivos. Su extirpación no produce cicatrices.

Sufrimiento sicológico
Sangrado

Situaciones que requieren asistencia médica:

Se debe buscar asistencia médica si hay síntomas que indiquen la presencia de un angioma en cereza y se desea extirparlo, o en caso de observarse algún cambio en la apariencia de un angioma de este tipo o de cualquier otra lesión cutánea.
