Tratamiento:

Los pequeños granulomas piógenos pueden desaparecer repentinamente. Las lesiones más grandes se tratan con cirugía, electrocauterización , congelamiento o láser. El porcentaje de recurrencia es alto si la lesión no se erradica totalmente.

Expectativas (pronóstico):

La mayoría de los granulomas piógenos se pueden extirpar, pero puede presentarse cicatrización después del tratamiento y son comunes las recurrencias en el mismo sitio.
