Urticaria pigmentosa - Overview

Definición:

Es una enfermedad de la piel que produce lesiones y picazón intensa. Si usted se frota las lesiones, se puede presentar urticaria.

Causas, incidencia y factores de riesgo:

La urticaria pigmentosa es una de varias formas de mastocitosis, que ocurre donde hay demasiadas células inflamatorias (mastocitos) en la piel.

La urticaria pigmentosa se observa con mayor frecuencia en niños, pero se presenta en adultos también.
