Xerodermia pigmentosa
SÃntomas:
- Una quemadura solar que no sana después de un poco de exposición al sol
- Ampollas después de un poco de exposición al sol
- Vasos sanguÃneos aracnoides bajo la piel
- Parches de piel decolorada que empeoran
- Formación de costra en la piel
- Descamación de la piel
- Superficie de la piel en carne viva que supura
- Molestia al estar con luz brillante ( fotofobia )
Signos y exámenes:
El médico llevará a cabo un examen fÃsico y preguntará si hay antecedentes familiares de xerodermia pigmentosa.
Un examen ocular puede mostrar:
- Opacidad de la córnea
- Queratitis
- Tumores en el párpado
- Blefaritis
Los siguientes exámenes pueden ayudar a diagnosticar el trastorno en un bebé antes del nacimiento:
- Amniocentesis
- Muestra de vellosidad coriónica
- Cultivo de células amnióticas
Los siguientes exámenes pueden ayudar a diagnosticar el trastorno después del nacimiento:
- Cultivo de los fibroblastos de la piel
- Biopsia de piel
