Displasia ectodérmica - Symptom

Displasia ectodérmica anhidrótica; Síndrome de Christ-Siemens-Touraine

Síntomas:

Las personas con displasia ectodérmica pueden no sudar o presentar disminución de la sudoración, debido a una falta de glándulas sudoríparas.

Los niños con la enfermedad pueden tener dificultad para controlar la fiebre. Las enfermedades leves pueden producir fiebres extremadamente altas, porque la piel no puede sudar y controlar en forma adecuada la temperatura.

Los adultos afectados son incapaces de tolerar un ambiente cálido y requieren medidas especiales para mantener una temperatura corporal normal.

Otros síntomas abarcan:

  • Uñas anormales
  • Dientes ausentes o anormales
  • Ausencia o disminución de las lágrimas
  • Reducción del color de la piel (pigmento)
  • Intolerancia al calor
  • Incapacidad de sudar
  • Frente grande
  • Número de dientes por debajo de lo normal
  • Puente nasal bajo
  • Hipoacusia
  • Regulación deficiente de la temperatura
  • Visión deficiente
  • Cabello delgado y escaso
  • Piel delgada
