Endometritis - Prevención

Prevención:

La endometritis causada por infecciones de transmisión sexual se puede prevenir por medio de:

  • Diagnóstico oportuno y tratamiento completo de las enfermedades de transmisión sexual en la persona misma y en sus compañeros sexuales
  • Prácticas sexuales "más seguras"

El riesgo de endometritis se reduce por medio de técnicas cuidadosas de esterilización utilizadas por los médicos al atender partos, abortos, inserción de dispositivos intrauterinos u otros procedimientos ginecológicos.

Si a la persona le han recetado antibióticos después de un procedimiento, es muy importante terminar todos los medicamentos y asistir a controles con el médico.
