Endometritis
SÃntomas:
- Malestar general, inquietud o sensación de enfermedad ( malestar )
- Fiebre  que puede ir de 100º F (37.7° C) a 104º F (40° C)
- Dolor pélvico o dolor abdominal bajo (dolor uterino)
- Sangrado vaginal anormal
-
Secreción vaginal anormal
- con aumento de la cantidad
- de color, consistencia y olor inusuales
- Malestar intestinal (se puede presentar estreñimiento)
- Abdomen distendido
Signos y exámenes:
El médico llevará a cabo un examen fÃsico. El examen del abdomen bajo puede mostrar sensibilidad abdominal y puede haber disminución de los sonidos intestinales. Un examen de la pelvis puede revelar sensibilidad en el útero y el cuello uterino . Igualmente, se puede presentar una secreción cervical.
Se pueden realizar los siguientes exámenes:
- Conteo de glóbulos blancos
- ESR ( tasa de sedimentación eritrocÃtica )
- Cultivos endocervicales para Clamidia , gonorrea y otros organismos
- Biopsia endometrial
- Laparoscopia
