Pólipos cervicales - Symptom

Síntomas:

Períodos anormalmente abundantes (menorragia)
Sangrado vaginal anormal
- después de la ducha
- después de las relaciones sexuales
- después de la menopausia
- entre los períodos menstruales
Moco amarillo o blanco (leucorrea)

Los pólipos pueden ser asintomáticos.

Signos y exámenes:

Durante un examen pélvico, el médico observará neoplasias en forma de dedo, lisas y de color rojo o violáceo sobre el cuello uterino. Una biopsia cervical casi siempre mostrará células que son indicativas de un pólipo benigno. En raras ocasiones, puede haber células anormales y precancerosas o cancerosas en un pólipo.
