Dolor pélvico intermenstrual - Treatment

Tratamiento:

Por lo general, no es necesario un tratamiento. Cuando el dolor es prolongado e intenso, se pueden necesitar medicamentos para el dolor (analgésicos).

Se espera que el resultado final sea excelente.

Pronóstico:

El dolor pélvico intermenstrual puede ser intenso, pero no es nocivo, y no indica enfermedad. De hecho, las mujeres que sienten este dolor pueden tener una ventaja al planear o tratar de evitar un embarazo. Este dolor se siente alrededor del momento de la ovulación. Una mujer tiene mayor probabilidad de quedar en embarazo justo antes de la ovulación, el día de la ovulación o inmediatamente después de ésta.

Posibles complicaciones:

Por lo general no hay complicaciones.

Cuándo contactar a un profesional médico:

Solicite una cita con el médico si el dolor de la ovulación parece cambiar, dura más tiempo de lo normal o se presenta con sangrado vaginal.
