Tratamiento:

Por lo general, el tratamiento no es necesario. Cualquier enfermedad subyacente (como la endometriosis o las adherencias) se puede tratar si fuese necesario.

Expectativas (pronóstico):

Esta condición generalmente no causa problemas.

Complicaciones:

La posición atípica del útero puede ser causada por endometriosis , por salpingitis o por la presión ejercida por un tumor en desarrollo. Estas condiciones se deben descartar en la paciente con dolor u otros síntomas.
