Prevención:

Se recomienda evitar la humedad excesiva y persistente en el área genital, usando ropa interior o medias pantalón en materiales como el algodón y evitando el uso de pantalones ajustados. Se debe procurar no permanecer con trajes de baño húmedos o con trajes deportivos durante mucho tiempo y lavarlos después de cada uso.
