Síntomas:

Los síntomas de un embarazo en las primeras etapas son:

Inflamación de las mamas
Cambio del color de las areolas de las mamas
Náuseas
Desmayo leve o mareo
Ausencia del período menstrual

Signos y exámenes:

El médico realiza un examen pélvico para confirmar el embarazo y hace un cálculo aproximado de las semanas de gestación transcurridas. También puede realizar un examen de HCG sérica (un examen de sangre) para confirmar el embarazo. Asimismo, se puede utilizar una ecografía vaginal o abdominal para determinar la ubicación y la edad gestacional.
