Huevo de Naboth - Tratamiento

Tratamiento:

No es necesario tratamiento alguno, ya que los huevos de Naboth no causan ningún problema.

Los huevos de Naboth no desaparecen por sí solos, pero los quistes se pueden extirpar fácilmente en el consultorio del médico, usando electrocauterización o crioterapia, aunque esto rara vez es necesario.

Expectativas (pronóstico):

Los huevos de Naboth no causan ningún daño. Son una condición benigna.

Complicaciones:

En raras ocasiones, los quistes pueden llegar a ser tan numerosos o grandes que el cuello uterino aumenta de tamaño o resulta obstruido, dificultando la toma de una citología vaginal.
