Síndrome de Asperger: trastorno generalizado del desarrollo.

Síntomas:

  • Comunicación no verbal anormal, como problemas con el contacto visual, expresiones faciales, posturas del cuerpo o gestos
  • Víctima de señalamientos por parte de otros niños como "raro" o "extraño"
  • Incapacidad de establecer relaciones con los compañeros
  • Incapacidad para corresponder a sentimientos sociales o emocionales
  • Inflexibilidad acerca de rutinas o rituales específicos
  • Incapacidad para mostrar, traer o señalar objetos de interés para otras personas
  • Alteración marcada en la expresión de placer por la felicidad de las otras personas
  • Preocupación por las partes de objetos enteros
  • Comportamientos repetitivos, incluyendo comportamiento autoagresivo repetitivo
  • Agitación repetitiva de los dedos, torsión o movimientos del cuerpo entero
  • Preocupación intensa por áreas de interés restringidas, como por ejemplo, obsesión con los horarios de trenes, directorios telefónicos o colección de objetos
