Trastorno ciclotímico - Symptom

Síntomas:

  • Los episodios de hipomanía (ver trastorno bipolar) y depresión leve ocurren durante por lo menos dos años (uno o más años en los niños y adolescentes).
  • Las fluctuaciones del estado de ánimo son menos severas que en el trastorno bipolar, la depresión mayor o la manía.
  • Los síntomas son persistentes, con no menos de dos meses consecutivos sin síntomas.

La descripción que usted hace de los antecedentes de su estado de ánimo generalmente conduce al diagnóstico del trastorno. Los médicos pueden ordenar exámenes de sangre y orina para descartar causas médicas de las fluctuaciones o altibajos en el estado de ánimo.
