Angiofibroma juvenil

Definición:

Es un tumor no canceroso de la parte posterior de la nariz o parte superior de la garganta.

Causas, incidencia y factores de riesgo:

El angiofibroma juvenil es relativamente poco común y clásicamente se descubre en varones adolescentes. El tumor contiene muchos vasos sanguíneos, es localmente invasivo y puede causar daño óseo.
