Prevención:

Para prevenir la enfermedad, se debe evitar el contacto con gatos; pero cuando esto no sea sensato, lavarse bien las manos después de jugar con el animal, evitar arañazos o rasguños y mordeduras, así como evitar el contacto con la saliva de este animal disminuirán el riesgo de infección.
