Seudotumor orbital
Definición:
La órbita es una cavidad ósea en forma de pirámide en el cráneo, la cual contiene y protege el globo ocular y las estructuras asociadas. El seudotumor orbital es una inflamación de los tejidos orbitales detrás del ojo, pero a diferencia de los tumores cancerosos, éste no puede invadir otros tejidos ni diseminarse a otros lugares.

Causas, incidencia y factores de riesgo:
La causa se desconoce. Esta afección afecta a las mujeres jóvenes, aunque puede ocurrir a cualquier edad.
