Definición:

Es una enfermedad nasal que muestra un desgaste de las crestas óseas y de las membranas mucosas dentro de la nariz. La formación de costras, una secreción y un olor muy fétido son otros de los síntomas usuales que presenta la ocena. Esta afección puede ocurrir después de un período prolongado de inflamación nasal.
