Rinitis vasomotora

Definición:

Es una afección no alérgica que provoca secreción nasal, estornudos y congestión nasal constantes.

Causas, incidencia y factores de riesgo:

La causa exacta de la rinitis vasomotora se desconoce. Es posible que se trate de una respuesta de hipersensibilidad a la atmósfera seca, los contaminantes del aire, los alimentos picantes, el alcohol, las emociones fuertes o algunos medicamentos. La rinitis vasomotora no es causada por una infección o alergia.
