Rinitis vasomotora - Symptom

Rinitis no alérgica; Rinitis idiopática; Rinitis de tipo no alérgica

Síntomas:

  • Goteo nasal
  • Congestión nasal (nariz tapada)
  • Sibilancias
  • Secreción nasal acuosa (rinorrea)

Pruebas y exámenes:

El médico le preguntará por sus síntomas, cuándo ocurren y qué parece desencadenarlos.

A usted también le preguntarán por su casa y el ambiente de trabajo. El médico puede observar dentro de la nariz y ver que los tejidos que la recubren están hinchados debido a los vasos sanguíneos inflamados.

Se pueden realizar pruebas cutáneas para alergias con el fin de descartar este problema como una causa de los síntomas.

Se pueden igualmente ordenar exámenes de sangre para determinar los niveles sanguíneos totales de IgE (anticuerpo alérgico) y el conteo total de eosinófilos circulantes (un tipo de glóbulo blanco).
