Síndrome facio-dígito-genital

Síntomas:

  • Ombligo que sobresale
  • Protuberancia en la ingle o el escroto (hernia inguinal)
  • Retardo en la maduración sexual
  • Retraso en la erupción de los dientes
  • Ojos con inclinación palpebral hacia abajo
  • Línea de implantación del cabello en forma de "pico de viuda"
  • Tórax levemente hundido ( tórax excavado)
  • Problemas mentales de leves a moderados
  • Estatura baja de leve a moderada (puede no ser evidente hasta que el niño tenga de 1 a 3 años)
  • Desarrollo insuficiente de la parte media de la cara
  • Cara redonda
  • Escroto en "chal", testículos que no han bajado (descendido)
  • Dedos de las manos y de los pies cortos, con remanentes de membrana interdigital
  • Pliegue único en la palma de la mano
  • Manos y pies pequeños y anchos con dedos cortos y el meñique con curva hacia adentro
  • Nariz pequeña con protuberancia de las fosas nasales hacia adelante
  • Parte superior del pabellón auricular ligeramente doblada
  • Hendidura amplia por encima del labio superior y pliegue por debajo del labio inferior
  • Ojos ampliamente separados con párpados caídos
