Tratamiento:

Pronóstico:

Algunas personas pueden presentar grados leves de lentitud mental, pero los niños afectados generalmente tienen buenas habilidades sociales. Algunos hombres pueden tener problemas con la fertilidad.

Posibles complicaciones:

  • Cambios quísticos en el cerebro
  • Dificultad en el crecimiento durante el primer año de vida
  • Dientes desalineados
  • Convulsiones
  • Criptorquidia

Cuándo contactar a un profesional médico:

Consulte con el médico si su hijo presenta retraso en el crecimiento o si nota cualquiera de los síntomas del síndrome de Aarskog y busque asesoría genética si tiene antecedentes de este síndrome en la familia.
